Bub & Me: Drawing: Show {Hero}

So you know what we wore on our 3rd marriage anniversary, come read what we did! :)

My friend Becky, who works in Red Spade Entertainment, invited me & my family to watch a Korean art performance, Drawing: Show {Hero}. A lovely coincidence that it was on our 3rd marriage anniversary...

The boy and I on our special day *happiness*

The little pumpkin joined us as Drawing: Show {Hero} is a family-friendly show. It was our baby girl's first outing to a performance too. Yippee!!

She was pretty well-behaved actually. It was an 80 mins show and we thought that perhaps, she would get bored and might not last through the whole show so we were prepared to leave early {and brought snacks & toys to entertain her just in case} heh... BUT our little trooper LOVED the high-energy show with all its dancing, songs, and animated drawing techniques. She cheered and shaked her lil bootie throughout.. thank goodness Drawing: Show {Hero} encouraged audience participation!! The little pumpkin did not even attempt to run around the whole theatre {phew!!} and was totally wowed by the creative art show.

The 4 unbelievably talented {and hilarious} artists created the masterpieces you see behind them FREEHAND!!

Seriously, I don't know how that did that! The colourful piece {Superman's face} is actually made out of Rubik's cubes!! OMG!

Can you see Brue Lee? It's actually created with glue and chalk dust on a window pane. Another show highlight was when the 4 artists painted separately on 4 pieces of canvases and pieced them together to form the Michael Jackson artwork!! Even looking back at these pictures, I'm still in awe...

Watching Drawing: Show {Hero} was really some kind of wonderful. It was the perfect end to a really special day for us. I'm also very glad to know that the little pumpkin enjoys & can behave well at these kind of shows, so we can start bringing her out to more "social" affairs heh
