Some days I manage to buy a good book or two. Last weekend I actually managed to get 3 from Bookmart {yes, they have one in Singapore too!}. And they were in really good condition *happiness* Most days, I don’t buy any books, sometimes magazines if I go to the bookstore.
Some days, I will have the luxury to relax and read those said books. I hate to read books half-way and put them down for long periods of time so I will try to read finish a book in about a week. Most days, I’m at work or doing other wifey things .at home so I don’t have time to read {sad but true} except at night. if it’s really too good to put down, I will sacrifice my precious sleep at night and read! Haha.
Some days, morning traffic is uncharacteristically smooth. The boy and I will be caught off-guard and we’ll be thinking hard for possible reasons. And if it will possibly continue for the next few days (^^)V Is it the school hols? Public holiday? National Walk-to-Work Day?? {no, we don’t have that, but we should!} Most days, we spend 40-45mins driving on a route that would usually take 20mins on a good day. Bleah.
Some days, I will arrive before my boss at work and feel like I’ve won a lottery. Kinda :P Most days, he arrives before me. Hmm.. shouldn’t bosses take it easy??
Some days, we will have office lunch gatherings. Sometimes it will sumptuous meals at restaurants, or parties to celebrate a certain season {e.g. durian} or festival {Mid-Autumn Festival mooncakes}, other times it will be buffets at the office. Most days, it’s just normal lunches in the nearby eateries/canteens or o-bentos for me.
Talking about work a bit more because I've been a bit busy there lately... but, at least today is a holiday!!! Going to take a nap with the bub soon, then head downtown for some shopping. It is my nephew's birthday party on Sat so gonna get him a lil present {oh what do you get for an 8 year old boy??!!}.

I love how the "SOme Days" are such a real insight to what your days are really like! I'm the same with books - I hate letting them go half read!
I'm not a reader but i love stopping by Book Off and other second hand shops to see what i can find. Finding a good English Childrens book here is like finding a diamond!! I have found lots though!
I hope you get some time to read your books this week
Thanks for linking up!!
You said your work has daycare on site- so does your daughter go there? Or does someone look after her at your house?!
I think it that you can go to work with your husband even if it is stuck in traffic- give you a chance to talk!!
I love books - I don`t read as much as I should now though.
I honestly can't remember the last time I read a book; I have just spent too much time reading people's blogs!
Are you in Japan with Lulu? Sorry if that seems a very naive question. I just wondered cause I know Selamat Hari ...is also an Indonesian term, but the rest of your blog looks Japanese
Thanks for linking up!

I think any day that includes a book (either reading or buying) is a good day! I'm following you from Jessica's Coupons.
I hope your day is full of joy -- and a good book!
