We've brought Lil Pumpkin to Universal Studios Singapore {USS} a few times but this is the first time we went there as just us - husband and wife. It was a fun "parenting-day off" just being a couple, nurturing the relationship we had for the past 9 years.

Sometimes I still find it amazing that 9 years have passed already, while other times I think wow, has it only been 9 years??! In a good way of course, because we've been living together for so long that it feels like a lifetime already, and yet, we still have so many more years ahead of us! Many more years of happy memories to make, many more years of adventures to travel, many more years of family blessings with the boy who makes me laugh {check out the funny meme posters he made}, feel and loves me for who I am, no matter what I do.

I was watching an old episode of How I Met Your Mother {love that show!!} and it got on the topic of final words. I want to make it a point to make my final words to the boy to be "I love you" every time before we part... or something to that degree :) Just in case anything happens, at least our last memory together is a happy, loving one...

At this moment, what were your last words to your hubby or partner?

P.S. Made the photo collages with My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Software :)

Congratulations on 9 years! Looks like a fun day :) My last words to hubs were 'Love you, have a great day'... so original huh? :)

sounds like you had fun celebrating nine years.
my cousin always said I love you to her parents when they left for that reason. but it was always a little funny when she was in a really bad mood but still said it any way. the thought was there, even if she couldn't over come her cranky emotions.

haha... you are so funny that that is the place you choose for your fun day out. Too cute! Congrats on 9 years. Amazing! And even photos with all the characters! love it! xxx

Congrats on nine years, I love that idea about nice final words - I think I can improve on mine, sleep deprivation can bring out the worst in me ;)

Aww sweet. :) My hubs and myself were both brought up the traditional Chinese way so we never say 'I love you'... would feel weird!

Photos look great - so much fun! I like the idea of trying to make words count, as who knows when they might be your last? My worde to Mr. Mandie this morning before he left we're more like, " hmmmph" as I was half aslep! At least that can be translated into anything (good or bad!)...

Robyn: may not be the most original, but still one of the best sentence ever for sure :)

Ms Mandy: I do that sometimes too haha *oops*

Tahlia: we had planned something else but decided to go there since hubs has not sat on a lot of the rides before and there's a new transformer ride that opened not long ago ;p

Mrs Savage: yes, same for me! and hunger too! haha

Stacy: try saying it more and it won't be weird anymore :)

MsMandie: well at least it wasn't "go away you are disturbing me!"

Great photos looks like a wonderful day. My last words were I love you have a great day. Or vice versa. So very true about never leaving on bad terms.

Congrats on Blogger of the MO as well xx

Congratulations! How cute are you 2? It's fun to do things like this child-free, so that you can do all the rides and everything! That is quite a feat, 9 years! Are you going to do something big for 10 years next year? Better start planning! :-)

Congrats on 9 years - you have inspired me - it never occurred to me that hubby and I could go to one of the theme parks on our own - next time we have family staying we might go so we can enjoy the faster rides etc!

what is the picture of you in a pod - what is that for? (curious)

Haha looks like a fun day! My last words were 'can you text me a shopping list'. How sad is that? :)

Amelia: the boy and I took leave to go to.. it's much better to go on weekdays since there's less crowd!

Rhi: aww sweet words :) thanks! I appreciate the mention from Jess heh

Aroha: yes I hope so! We went Thailand for our 5th anni so hopefully somewhere nice overseas next yr :)

Sara: thank you!

Deb: do try it as a date! :) It is a drying pod with warm air to dry your clothes etc. That was placed near a wet water ride heh..

Sarah: haha not sad at all.. at least he will remember that he needs you! ;p

I love how you too just have so much fun together; that's the kind of thing that is going to make it last.

My last words to Boatman were 'love your bum.' I say it all the time. It's probably what I'll be remembered for :)

9 Years, that's awesome!! And like you said, so many more years to come :) Looks like you guys had a great time, which was well deserved!

My last words to hubby this morning was "Love you" before he went to work. Or was it, "Take this diaper out to the garbage before you leave"? I can't remember ;) LOL

Congratulations on your happy marriage, much blessings to you and your family. That is the kind of happiness I desire for me and my future husband, remembering the last words I said to him before flying to Ecuador for a tournament, he said by phone: "I'll see you tonight at your house" (because he always stops by my house after work, I break down in tears and said: "Don't say that... I love You".

So we always say that no matter what.

Wow you have so much to celebrate at the moment. 9 years married and blogger of the month! Congratulations on both! And I always say "I love you" after I say goodbye to one of my children or husband. Your post reminded me of why. :)

Hey Ai:) First of all congrats and Happy Aniversary. It looks like you had a blast, and it looks like a super cool place to visit. I'm totally jealous that you got to meet Puss 'n Boots, that is one of my favorite Shrek characters.

Anyway, I was just stopping by, getting caught up on my blog reading and wanted to say hello.

Have a fabulous day!
