Annyeong Haseyo, Back from the Land of Kimchi!!

안녕하세요!! We are back from our little family break :) You probably would have guessed from my facebook page, twitter & instagram feeds that we went Seoul, Korea and yes, you are right! I enjoyed my trip so much last year that we went back again. The boy had to be in Melbourne for the week so we left at the same time to the Land of Kimchi.

It just so happened that Spring is here in Korea and that means it is Sakura season!! Gosh, it has been about 3-4 years since I last saw Sakura flowers in real-life and I almost teared from joy! My Korean friends told me that Spring came a little late this year, so Sakura was not in full bloom by the time we left.. however, we did managed to see the pretty flowers along Cheongyecheon, at the imperial palaces, Yoeido and random streets we walked by. Absolutely breath-taking...

I'm so happy the Little Pumpkin is able to finally see Sakura flowers too! This time, we stayed at a gorgeous hotel, Somerset Palace, thanks to my dad heehee and went to a few new places in Seoul like Sinchon, COEX Mall, Yoeido, Samcheongdong etc. Can't wait to share more about the places and things we did in Korea here so do check it out :)

For now, I have complete all the anti-climax post-holiday chores like unpacking and laundry!! Catch up with all of you soon!

Daffodils do for me what sakura does for you. :) Encountered them first as a student and teared up upon returning to the UK a decade later.

Glad you enjoyed your trip!
