Tea Time Sparkles at TWG Tea Company ☆ キラキラ ☆

I'm so glad Joy returned from her long years in Melbourne! We met at TWG Tea Salon & Boutique in Takashimaya for high tea last Thursday. This branch is tucked away in a corner of the huge departmental store and there was hardly anybody. Perfect for a tête-à-tête catch-up session with a dear friend.
The rain did not get me or my cheerful summer dress down! I love the empire cut and red accents of the sash. I have a lot of empire cut dresses that is fitted just below the bust-line and flows fluidly down to the hem, which gives an illusion of making you look slimmer due to the longer lines and certainly flatters my body shape :)

The Casio Sheen SHE-5020D-7A added some sparkle to my outfit and its simple, classic style is so appropriate for elegant tea sessions with friends.

Do you have a certain fashion silhouette that you adore? What do you like to wear to tea or brunch dates?

What a cute dress. Love the cascading polka dots! I wish had "tea" or brunch more, but you're dress is wonderful - flattering, casual yet fun :) Pretty sparkly watch too!
