We arrived around midnight on Sunday night, got home and slept for about 5 hours before we went back to work on Monday morning. But all's good, Hong Kong was fantastic. Shopping, food and sights did not disappoint, and we even got to meet up with Emily & Wilson heehee. Weather was slightly hotter than in Singapore, and more humid though.

Will be posting more highlights from our trip here so come back and check often. And yes, I realise I haven't finished posting on our Korea 2012 trip too! Ooops... It was quite busy the past month with our family birthdays & outings, Casio Sheen campaign, reviews etc. Looking forward to a more relaxing June... and our family photo-shoot coming up this Sunday!!! Whee~!
Have you been to Hong Kong? Anying you want to know about it?

No, I've never been to Hong Kong. Is it as bust as everyone says it is?

Penny: I think you meant busy so yes! It really was.. day and night!
Cynful Pleasure: thanks! I think she did.. more so for her daddy haha
O-kaeri! Sounds like you had an awesome time! Always good to have some quality time with the one you love. I remember being in HK around this time of the year 3 years ago and it was HOT! Can't imagine it to be hotter than Singapore! That must be hot !
U made me feel like going to HK anytime soon :P
Welcome home! I got engaged in Hong Kong at cafe deco at the top of the peak. Hubby was living there for work (we were apart for 15 mo) and I had gone to see if i could live there (could not) but we got engaged and ended up in Australia!
So glad you had a great trip!!
I love Hong Kong! We went there for our honeymoon 19 years ago and took our 2 kids there last year. We loved it so much we are going back there again in December!
Glad you had a fun time!
Best wishes,
Natasha in Oz
I had an unexpected stopover in Hong Kong 3 years ago when my flight from Manila to Brisbane got delayed. However waiting in the Manila airport til the wee hours of the morning and arriving in Hong Kong at about 5am meant that about all I saw was the inside of my eyelids in the complementary hotel room we were provided with by the airline for our 24 hour stay! Would love to go back & see it properly.
I had an unexpected stopover in Hong Kong a couple of years ago - but as we arrived at 5am and left less than 24 hours later, about all I saw was my hotel room (provided by the airline). Would love to see it properly though! Thinking of a trip to Hong Kong or Singapore when Miss 15 graduates -which would you recommend?
No I haven't, but boatman is not into cities and business, and since being with him, my tolerance for them is much less too!
Its funny how even when you're not that old, age catches up on you.
But dessert is a great silver lining :)
That was a beautiful read, and I loved seeing the photos too. I am humidity-averse so Hong Kong will not be on my list of places to visit..if I ever do get away in my senior years.
Lovely to see your blog today, and I've popped in from Jess' Team #Ibot

Welcome back dear Ai! I went to HK once, many years ago. Am sure will visit it again when I get back to the tropics. Just thinking bout the food makes me drool! HEE!
Grace: yes it was so hot! I'm back with a sore throat now... Must be too heaty!
Mamamie: haha you shld! Going to be sales time soon.
Deb: oh how lovely! Thanks for sharing :)
Natasha: fantastic! Hope you have a brilliant time again!
Footprints Australia: hmm if this is your first time to Asia maybe Singapore first as it's much easier in terms of transport, food and language. Hong Kong is exciting but might be a bit difficult because they mostly communicate in Cantonese or Mandarin in everyday lives. If you need more info let me know!
Jess: desserts is always a silver lining haha
Denwise: thanks! I'm not that fond of hot summer weathers too but it's hard to avoid living in this region haha
Summer: yes and so much cheaper to travel when you are back in Singapore too. Can't wait!
