A Magical Fantasy | Voyage de La Vie, Resorts World Sentosa

I went with my family to watch the magical fantasy, Voyage de La Vie, at Resorts World Sentosa {RWS}. We received surprise complimentary tickets from RWS {so very sweet of them!} to celebrate our 9th anniversary together as a couple in March but didn't have time to go until recently.

As we watched a matinee show, I didn't want to wear something too formal. Decided to go with a blue chiffon dress with romantic lace around the sleeves and skirt that I bought on my last trip to Seoul. Love it!

The Peter Pan collar is made of lace too. I have an obsession with Peter Pan collar dresses and bought so many in Korea! They have such a wide variety of gorgeous {& affordable!!} clothes there.

Voyage de La Vie is a spectacular theatrical show filled with circus stars from 19 countries. We were given the best seats in the house and enjoyed the family experience. Ever since we saw the Korean Drawing: Show {Hero} act and noticed that the Lil Pumpkin loved these live performances, we try to bring her to more cultural performances that allow audience participation to stimulate her creativity and senses. Lil Pumpkin was especially fascinated with the butterfly ballerinas, song & dance segments, while I liked the contortionist messengers most. They are unimaginably flexible!

This is Singapore's longest running show but it will end on 16 July 2012, so do try and catch it while you can! I promise that you will not be disappointed with the energetic and breath-taking circus acts. Lil Pumpkin still rattles on about it whenever she spots its posters :)

It lasts for about 1.5hrs so it isn't too long even for younger children to enjoy. If you watch a matinee show like us, you can even take time to explore the rest of RWS, shop at a kid's dreamland Candylicious and have dinner at the much raved-about Malaysian Food Street!

More information about Voyage de La Vie can be found on their website.
