I gave a
introduction to the beautiful city with travel tips yesterday but thought I'd just post some fun, random snaps of my trip today since I took LOADS!!! There really was so much to see, do and eat!! I think the "worst" thing about posting on your holiday is sieving through the massive number of photos you took haha... agree??
A total of 10 bloggers went on this trip to Macau, and you can read about all our profiles and Macau experiences
here. I'm really glad to have met all of them and looking forward to our next makan food trail hahahah
On Day 1 we went to the famous
Macau Tower. We went up to the observation deck at 223m above ground and this is where you can get your adrenaline rush with a the world's highest bungy jump!!
We dined at
360° Café at the Tower which is Macau's highest revolving restaurant. There was a wide spread of cuisines from all around the world and the view is just amazing. After that we enjoyed the dazzling display of fireworks from Macau International Fireworks Display Contest.
Day 2 saw us up bright and early for a mini amazing race around
Senado Square!! It was a fun way to discover the culturally-rich area but most of us were quite tired out from the heat!!
Luckily Macau has lots of gooooood food to re-energise us! I think all of us needs to add "food blogger" to our resume ;p
Day 3 had us at the whimsical
Butterfly Pavilion in MGM Macau and watching the
House of Dancing Waters performance at the City of Dreams. Both were absolutely magical! Check out the cute souvenirs from Macau!! Got a Naruto-kun in Macau phone strap for the boy and a Minnie Mouse one for my mum.
Before we flew back we went to
Taipa Village. Again, it was very hot but I love the clear blue skies in Macau :) The weather was certainly a vast difference from at the
Ice World at Venetian Macau. Harbin's legendary ice artisans carved all the breath-taking ice sculptures kept at -8 degrees Celsius inside the exhibition hall. Bbbbrrrrrrrr!
Love being with other bloggers where minutes spent taking photos of food before we eat is the norm, and not the exception ;p Can you guess what's in the box?
So much of Macau we want to bring home!!! Had to repack our luggages at the airport before we boarded our plane hahahah... Fortunately for us, although we couldn't pack everything in our suitcases, the memories from this trip are all kept safely in our minds, hearts and... fat on our tummies! ^^V
Stay tuned for details on the must-see, must-do and must-eat in Macau!
