Bub & Me: Tree of Remembrance for Valentine's Day

Remember the Tree of Love Lil Pumpkin and I made for the boy for last year's Valentine's Day? This year, I decided to make a Tree of Remembrance for him, with the help of our little girl again.

I used washi tape for the tree bark, and we did colourful finger-painting for the leaves. Again, a very simple art-piece, but made with love from both of us for this special day.

I want hubby to remember us at this point in time with our finger-prints, to remember that he is our tree of support, and to remember that despite all the moments of bad quarrels / anger / sadness, I still love him very much. And his little girl loves her daddy very much too.

This will probably be the last time in a long time he will be surprised for Valentine's Day as I plan on making a unique Tree art for him every year. It's not worth a lot monetary wise, but it's in a way priceless and something money can't buy. Like love.

Happy Valentine's Day my dearest hubby from the both of us! We love you!

P.S. Take part in my special Valentine's Day giveaway to readers worldwide here! Read about the other fun activities we did with Lil Pumpkin or my list of Kid-Friendly places in Singapore.
