I'm the oldest of 8 cousins, by quite a lot! My daughter is closer in age to my cousins than I am. She and my youngest cousin, who is six are best friends. They skype every night and send each other presents in the post, because we live 5hrs away. Visiting via IBOT
growing up i was close to my cousins on my mom's side. they lived on another island, but my mom flew us up every other weekend. plus, they were the only two that were my age.
now i make sure my kids are close with their cousins.
Sadly only one cousin leaves in the vicinity, the rest far away, so have met them but not grown up with them :( In my kids' case, well we can blame my brother for not supplying us any yet and my husband's sister's kids are around 20+ years older. Nice, but not the same! #teamIBOT
I grew up without cousins. While my kids have cousins now, there is such an age gap and distance that I am not sure their relationship will be quite like what you photoed. That is not to say they don't love their baby cousins to bits though
I think I saw my cousins maybe 6 time the entire time I was growing up, and my kids have some but they're in another country - at least they've each got 2 siblings to make up for it. Lovely pic Ai x Emily

Twitchy: there was a big age gap between me and my cousins (either too old or too small) or we lived in diff countries so I wasn't very close to any of my cousins either. So glad Lil Pumpkin is to hers!

Love this, Ai! The boys are luckily close to their cousins. They have the best time. So nice to see because I was very close with mine growing up too. Lil Pumpkin looks very happy to be around hers :) x
Oh so beautiful! I didn't grow up with any cousins cause they were either interstate or overseas, and now its the same for my kids! I guess it's lucky I have so many then :)
So cute! My kids have cousin's their ages as well. One is 2 months older then the 4 year old. The other is 3 months older than then the 7 year old. They've been close since birth.
Hello i dont know what happened then but my comment disappeared!! I was mentioning how my little daughter has just spent two weeks in ireland with her 10 cousins. As an only child, that's gold. Here in Oz, she has baby cousins that she spends more time carrying around than hanging out with. I tell her that when her girl cuz grows older she'll see my daughter as a big sister. Your nephew is a darling x
