Following my
simple DIY twine glass jar I crafted earlier, I thought to share 10 more interesting ideas to upcycle your glass mason jars. They aren't just used for jams and preserves nowadays, and are certainly too pretty to be thrown away, so if you like to recycle them like I do here's how to make better use of them to beautify your home:
1. Have a
birthday cake or other delectable desserts in the jars. Perfect for picnics, garden parties or to use up leftover cake ;p
2.
Little jar dioramas are the lovely additions to any pretty shelves or party tables.
3. Make cute
candy jars with bigger glass jars, candle sticks and a little spray paint! Pretty sure the kiddos will love this idea.

4.
Mason jar chandeliers are simply stunning for the home. I'd probably need the boy's help for installation if I decide to make this!
5. We can all do with a little more storage space and can create additional
wall storage using hose clamps to mount jars to a piece of wood to store crafty goodness and other essentials.
6. I can't sew to save my life but I think these would be perfect for the seamstress at heart to
store her spools and tools with a pretty pincushion to boot!
7.
Snow globes are easy crafts for the kids and Lil Pumpkin even made a
Hello Kitty Under the Sea snow globe before. A tip is to use mineral oil instead of water for a gentler snowfall.
8. Love this
mason jar twine holder and I think it'll be great for ribbons too!
9. Don't forget the bathrooms! Make your own
mason jar soap / lotion dispenser by drilling a hole in the lid to fin a pump and voilà! Something chic and rustic for those spaces.
10. The simplest idea of them all is of course, just as a
candle holder :)

Aww, great ideas! I have never give extra attention to the glass jars earlier, but this one is awesome. Thanks.
Great ideas! Awesome way to recycle :)
I love mason jars. I think that ribbon/twine holder idea is fabulous!
I made my yogurt parfait inside one!
I use them like crazy at our house! We have salad in a jar.
I also put white vinegar in a jar, add lemon, lime or orange peels and let it steep for 2 weeks. Then I take the peels out with tongs and have a great all purpose cleaner.
Love this! I am going to find where I can get Mason Jar here and try to do those ideas.
