Letter to my girl #10 | Happy 4th Birthday!

Dear Lil Pumpkin,

Today you turn 4. Really, where did my baby go?? I still remember when you were a wee little one that just came into our world 4 years ago, crying for our love and attention. I've seen you grow from a bumbling baby who couldn't speak or do anything for herself, to a sweet young girl with a strong mind and character who knows what she wants, and goes all out to get it.

My dear, I see so much of myself in you day by day. A lot of people have mentioned that too :) You are my little mini-me and I'm so happy to have you by my side for the past 4 years. There have been days when I've been so sad and down, but seeing you never fails to brighten up my day.

You wanted a Pink Castle party to celebrate your special day with your little friends in preschool. Mummy and Daddy worked hard to create that castle cupcake stand from scratch, while Grandma helped Mummy with the cupcakes too. Despite the time and effort, it was all worth it when we saw your shining, happy face :) Never forget all the people who love you and will always be here to make your dreams come true.

You are not only the Princess that you think you are, but the Queen of our hearts too.

4 years ago was the day I became a mother. My life-changing moment. It so happens that your birthday falls on Mother's Day this year which makes it even more meaningful. We had an early celebration at your preschool a few days back, and tonight we will be having a family dinner with your two grandmas too because without them, there would be no Daddy or Mummy, and no you!

Lil Pumpkin, you are the most precious gift I can have as a mum, and there's nothing more I want on Mother's Day. We love you so, so much. Blessed 4th birthday, and may you grow up strong, healthy and happy always.
