Australia 2013 | What To Buy In Northern Territory + My Shopping Haul #NTAustraliaSG

Our 9 days in Northern Territory Australia was jam-packed with many exciting activities, but some of us still managed to find pockets of time to explore the shopping areas. Some famous spots like Causarina Square {largest shopping mall in Darwin}, some off-the-tourist-track local haunts like Nightcliff Market.

There's many things I'd like to share with you about my wonderful outback experience, but I'd need time to sieve through all the photos and information so first, I'd share my shopping haul from the trip  :) Writing it down is also a good way for me to remember what I bought and to make sure I use them!! Or not buy double as I sometimes do haha

Eunice once asked me how many items I bought. Off my mind I thought it was just around 30 but I counted just now, and it was actually 71... Oops. Should have expected that since I came back with slightly over 13kg extra baggage heh.

I'll be sharing what I bought, where I bought them and recommend souvenirs and shopping areas in Northern Territory in my video so enjoy!! I made the video on Monday actually, so I meant we came back the previous Sunday night. Sorry it's so amateurish as I don't usually vlog and didn't prepare any script / edit the video in any way. I forgot a few things I wanted to highlight too haha. If the video isn't working, see it on Youtube here.

I even missed sharing about these handmade beach anklets and glass earrings I got from Nightcliff Market in the video ;p Other than the souvenirs I mentioned earlier, you can also consider getting the famous Australian nuts like almonds & macadamias, crocodile or kangaroo jerky, South Sea pearl jewelry and original aboriginal / aborinigal-inspired music in NT. There was an amazing band, emDee, who sold their CDs and played at Mindil Beach Sunset Markets. Outdoor markets like Parap Village Market and Rapid Creek Market are worth a visit too.

Anyway, stay tuned for my upcoming travel posts for more details on some of these places, as well as other must-sees and must-dos in NT too!

* Disclosure: My Ultimate Australia Outback Adventure trip was sponsored by Tourism NT, thanks to omy.sg. No monetary compensation was received, and all opinions are my own.

You got such great prices. I want to go to Australia anyway, now I want to go even more. :)

Your Dora bag made me smile, my daughter loved Dora like no other when she was little. :)
