Bub & Me: Sentosa Spooky Junior's Magical Ball @ Port of Lost Wonder

Last Friday we brought Lil Pumpkin to the Sentosa Spooky Jr Magical Ball at the Port of Lost Wonder {POLW}! Located at Palawan Beach, POLW is Singapore's first kids' club by the beach specially designed for children up to aged 12 years old. It provides a unique experience of family bonding with a signature Pirate-themed water play area, themed islets for picnics and leisure activities and distinctive retail and dining experiences for the very young and young at heart.

It wasn't so much a party to celebrate Halloween but more of a chance for the kids to dress up and have fun! I didn't really dress Lil Pumpkin up or paint her face as I knew she'd be more interested in getting wet at the water play area haha. She brought along her little witch hat though ;p The party provided coloured masks for all the little kiddos to wear and decorate with embellishments. Lil Pumpkin said she was the Pumpkin of the Opera!!!!! :P

The whole of POLW was magically transformed! Families could explore six wonderlands with all sorts of fun-filled activities including a scavenger hunt, a bubble party from a colourful cauldron and dress up sessions with glitter tattoos and manicures. We could also listen to fairy tales at their storytelling sessions and paint our own mini pumpkins.

Since it was a "ball",  most of the staff were actually dressed like fairies, princesses, princes instead of scary witches or goblins, which was good since it won't frighten the little ones...

Some came as turkeys as well in honour of the Autumn season heh. This turkey lady was so hilarious. Her head was too heavy and it kept falling down!

If you didn't dress up but wanted to, you can even rent costumes from the Royal Boutique!

Lil Pumpkin in front of the huge Pirate Ship at the waterplay area. Kids under 6 need to be supervised at all times and there are staff around looking out for the safety of all the children. There's water guns, small & large tunnel slides {which even I enjoyed!!} and water fountains to play with.

POLW is usually closed at 6.30pm daily {Pirate Ship closes at 6pm} so it was a real treat to be able to swim and play there at night under the stars!

Big splash from the Pirate Captain's big bucket head haha

I enjoyed getting wet and wild with my dear Lil Pumpkin! Such a joy seeing her so happy since she just looooooves waterplay areas :)

The boy had fun with her at the different stations too. Here they are mixing their own bubbly concoction of drinks.. surprisingly, despite all the different ingredients they added, it still tasted rather delicious ;p

Some of the usual activities you can find at POLW during the day when it is open.

Before we left, we checked out the souvenir shop, Just Wonder. It's well-stocked with snacks, edutainment toys and games, and exclusive POLW apparel, beachwear, stationery, bags, slippers etc. Didn't find the items over-priced actually as you sometimes do at tourist attractions..

Bought this t-shirt and a hooded beach towel for Lil Pumpkin as souvenirs of our first outing there :)

My computer is not loading anyone's images today (think I've reached my monthly download limit) so I feel like it's built up all this suspense! It sounds awesome, and possibly even more so cause I can't see anything! :)
