Wordless Wednesday {linky}: Family Obento Ideas - Beef Tomato Pasta & Broccoli Kids Meal | Week 9

What's in my obento this week?
Beef Tomato Pasta & Steamed Broccoli {yes, Lil Pumpkin eats them!}.

Obento {お弁当} is a home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine and doesn't always need to be complicated or time-consuming. I hope to inspire you to create delicious, everyday obento meals for your family with these simple ideas and tools.

These photos are part of the 52 Weeks Family Obento Ideas series.

I really forgot about broccoli as a side to pasta, kids has pasta last night because I knew everyone too tired to eat a proper sit down family meal! One of my go-to dishes x

I love your Snoopy container! Where did you get it? And it's great that Lil' Pumpkin eats broccoli. It's one of the very few things that Noah sometimes eats.

The obento box is from Japan. I bought it from Misdo as part of their fukubukuro pack :)

Oh, that looks like a wonderful meal. My girls would probably eat the broccoli too, but I think they actually prefer it raw (weird children).
Oh, and I love the tin!!

I'm not a fan of eating broccoli and marinara sauce in same meal, but that is adorably plated. ^.^

Hurrah you're so lucky she eats the broccoli. My kids will eat it if it's chopped up really small, but not big and delicious like that in our pic.
