Wordless Wednesday {linky}: Family Obento Ideas - Green Tea Maccha Soba | Week 27

What's in my obento this week?
Green Tea Soba {抹茶そば} noodles.

One of Lil Pumpkin's fave dish! :)
I used my Sakura puncher for the seaweed & dolphin cookie cutter on the ham.
It's the CP Jumbo Bologna ham made of chicken meat. Like the Hello Kitty sausages, they came frozen but could easily be heated up in the microwave in their own microwavable packaging.
Convenient for a quick meal like this!

Obento {お弁当} is a home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine and doesn't always need to be complicated or time-consuming. I hope to inspire you to create delicious, everyday obento meals for your family with these simple ideas and tools.

These photos are part of the 52 Weeks Family Obento Ideas series.

I didn't use the punchers made just for food.. just new and clean craft punchers did the trick too! ;)

Wow, that looks absolutely beautiful! I normally have noodles for my lunch, but it looks much more messy.

I remember visiting your blog a long time ago...your little one was just a toddler. Now she's five! How times flies. I stopped blogging for awhile, but now I'm back and visiting all of my old hangouts. :)
