What's in my obento this week?
Easy Peanut Butter Fairy Bread in a Reusable Sandwich Bag.
Fairy Bread is typically white bread spread with butter and topped with coloured sprinkles.
This is my version with crunchy peanut butter haha.
This is my version with crunchy peanut butter haha.
Also this week instead of a lunchbox, I used my Planet Wise reusable sandwich bag! Made in the USA, it's washable and great for fruits, snacks and sandwiches. Can't say it's an "obento", but at least it's a home-packed snack! :P
Obento {お弁当} is a home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine and doesn't always need to be complicated or time-consuming. I hope to inspire you to create delicious, everyday obento meals for your family with these simple ideas and tools.

Please share your photos at the new home for Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday) at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/p/other-wordless-wednesday.html. I hope to see you each week!
I've tried fairy bread the normal way but not with peanut butter!
I have never though of making sprinkles stick with peanut butter 0 genius!
We have a lot of cloth bags. They are so handy. At first I was afraid Mica might throw them out at school. He keeps them. So does Isaak.
Considering how much I love fairies, I can't believe I haven't heard of fairy bread before today! Very cute. ^.^
I like the sandwich bag. I bet you made your little one very happy with the sandwich. :)
But you gotta have it open-faced so you can see the sprinkles! Wonder what it would taste like with cream cheese and jam...
I've never heard of fairy bread, but sounds and looks like something my kids would like! And the peanut butter sounds like a healthier option too!
Ya would have liked it open too but would be too messy for the snack bag! Better option if I used lunchboxes :P
Oh! how nice and the lovely sandwich bag to go with it heheh!
have a lunchtastic week ;-)
The crochet table thingy reminds me of a school project! #ww
That is such a cute idea! I am totally stealing that.
I prefer plastic zipper bags to keep my sandwiches. Cute idea, though. Happy #WW!
Love the sandwich bag.
Thanks for the great ideas.
Aww what a lovely idea :) yum, love peanut butter ...
Looks so pretty! Yum!
I have never heard of fairy bread before, but it sounds like something my kids would just adore!
