Wordless Wednesday {linky}: Family Obento Ideas - Tom Yum Squid & Fried Kangkong | Week 28

What's in my obento this week?
Tom Yum Squid & Fried Kangkong Rice in My Melody lunchbox.

The last time I posted this My Melody lunchbox, some of you mistook it for Hello Kitty.
My Melody is a girl rabbit, that's also part of the Sanrio family Hello Kitty is in :)

Obento {お弁当} is a home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine and doesn't always need to be complicated or time-consuming. I hope to inspire you to create delicious, everyday obento meals for your family with these simple ideas and tools.

These photos are part of the 52 Weeks Family Obento Ideas series.

This sounds silly, but I'd love to get a container like that for my son Mica. We joke with him all the time about liking Hello Kitty. He doesn't really like her that much. It's just a running silly thing we have going with him.

Your WW posts make me want to be more crafty w/the lunches I pack for hubby. Hahhahaa, he'd probably call me to ask me why I took away his beloved peanut butter and jelly sandwiches if I did it. :)

What a cute little food storage container! I bet my daughters would have loved this when they were small. At first glance, I thought it was Hello Kitty, but the ears were too long and that's when I read your caption. Happy WW!

You should put a book together with all of your ideas.

Okay, squid usually makes me squirm, but you made this look really good. I am tempted to dig right in.

My daughter loves My Melody -- she is crazy for Hello Kitty and all of her friends and she loves bunnies.
