Wordless Wednesday {linky}: Family Obento Ideas - Meatballs Macaroni Meal | Week 32

What's in my obento this week?
Meatballs & Veg Macaroni Meal.

Isn't this Shinzi Katoh Printemps obento box unique?
Not your usual "box", but specially designed to include a rice bowl
and comes with its own strap and fork too.

Obento {お弁当} is a home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine and doesn't always need to be complicated or time-consuming. I hope to inspire you to create delicious, everyday obento meals for your family with these simple ideas and tools.

These photos are part of the 52 Weeks Family Obento Ideas series.

What's the garnishing on the macaroni Ai? Also wondering how many bento boxes have you got?

Topping is Japanese furikake - dried fish, seaweed, sesame seeds and a bit of egg.

We haven't counted but between my mum and I, we prob own over 100 obento boxes :P

My kids would really love the macaroni, minus the meat. They are weird like that though :)
