10 Restaurants To Try with The Entertainer 1-for-1 App + {Promo}

Nowadays when we go out, the boy will ask "Can we use your The Entertainer app? Any good deals nearby??" haha. It is basically a mobile app that is chock-full of over 1,000 1-for-1 dining, leisure & travel offers and I guess he's appreciating my gifts of "experience" with it :P

The boy finds it really useful and such a good money-saver for us as a family. And I absolutely agree. So far, we've eaten at NYDC, St Marc's Café {twice because I love their Little Fuji desserts!!}, Marco Marco, Lola's Café and saved S$55++!! Already more than the price of the version app {currently S$54 with the early bird promo and my promo code} and the year has barely started! :P

Most of the time, we dine out at the same cafés and restaurants because we are lazy and hate to waste our calories on disappointing food and prefer to eat at places that had already delighted us heh. However, it can get boring sometimes so when I met some friends at a party last week who were also using The Entertainer app,  I got them to recommend me their favourite restaurants with offers on the app... They gave me SO MANY options that I just had to narrow it down.

I picked those that I've been wanting to try for a long time, those that we can go as a family, and also those which serve other cultural cuisines that we hardly eat and came up with my 10 Restaurants to Try with The Entertainer App :)

Oh, do note that each restaurant provides 3 offer vouchers so we can go eat there 3 times and enjoy buy one get one free offers each time. Or, I can use all three offers at once for a party of six or more and it requires no advance notice or pre-booking. Great, yah?

The estimated cost savings I've listed below is predicted by the app, but I find that usually, we save more than what's stated :)

1. Fat Cow
A Japanese-inspired meat atelier where the promise of a bespoke dining experience is carried through from the luxurious meat service to carefully selected lists of wines, sakes and shochus. Adding a Japanese twist and a lot of fun to classics, they offer a wide selection dishes using premium beef. It came highly recommended for a meat-lover like the boy ;)

Add: 1 Orchard Boulevard, Camdem Medical Centre #01-01/02
Estimated savings per offer: S$83

2. Au Petite Salut
Housed in an elegant villa off Dempsey Hill, the restaurant offers diners and authentic gastronomic experience of classical French delicious details. Its luxurious interior is refined and tastefully furnished while its alfresco area boasts a backdrop of lush greenery and tranquility.

Add: 40C Harding Road
Estimated savings per offer: S$48

3. Rochester Playhouse & Café
It sits on a grand, historically conserved colonial bungalow and is home to The Playhouse - a kid's haven of fun and edu-tainment. Been wanting to check out this place with Lil Pumpkin for a while now since it re-opened after an extensive overhaul last year. The Café serves bistro food all day and night, and apparently the weekend family brunch is spectacular!

Add: 7 Rochester Park
Estimated savings per offer: S$20

4. Lime Restaurant & Bar
Awarded one of the best local restaurants by Singapore Tatler, the chefs dish out a wide repertoire of savoury Asian dishes and international specialities from the à la carte and buffet selection. Their resident mixologists at the bar also whip out unique creations or classic favourites.

Add: 3 Upper Pickering Street, PARKROYAL on Pickering
Estimated savings per offer: S$67

5. Yummy Viet Restaurant
It takes pride at serving traditional, authentic Vietnamese cuisine at a reasonable price. Their extensive menu offers fresh summer rolls, Bánh Mì {baguette sandwiches}, barbecue pork vermicelli and steaming bowls of Pho Bo all cooked and served by Vietnamese staff.

Add: 28 Smith Street, Chinatown
Estimated savings per offer: S$10

6. Mad for Garlic
I've been wanting to eat here for a loooooong time! I love eating garlic, especially raw pieces with rice :P Originating from Korea, it is one of Korea's most popular restaurant chains renowned for its unique garlic-specialized Italian cuisine. With its chef special preparation method that removes the garlic's pungent smell, customers love its signature dishes such as Garlic Snowing Pizza, Garlicpeno Pasta and Garlic Steak.

Add: No. 3 Temasek Boulevard, #02-300/301
Estimated savings per offer: S$24

7. Buyan Restaurant
This is the very place to try the real taste of renowned Russion borsh, pirozhki {small pies} or pelmeni {dough pockets filled with mixed meat}. The restaurant also has a bar serving a great selection of vodkas, in-house infusions and craft beers.

Add: 9 Duxton Hill
Estimated savings per offer: S$30

8. Milagro Spanish Restaurant
It is a new indie, contemporary restaurant serving regional recipes of Spain. At Milagro, we can savour food from Galicia, paella from Valencia, desserts from Catalonia and even wine from the most celebrated vineyards in La Rioja.

Add: 181 Orchard Road #08-06/07
Estimated savings per offer: S$19

9. Gusto by Alfresco Gusto
They serve savoury and wholesome Italian delights with 10 different pastas and risottos, and 11 different pizzas. The menu also features fish and meat selections, with delicious desserts like the classic tiramisu.

Add: 2 Orchard Turn #01-15, ION Orchard
Estimated savings per offer: S$26

10. The Prime Society
No surprise that another restaurant known for its steaks is on the list! The Prime Society offers contemporary cuisine showcasing the very best breeds of Australian beef. From premium grass and grain fed, to 100% full-blood Wagyu, dry and wet aged beef {salivating just by typing this haha}. The menu also offers a variety of seafood and vegetarian dishes that are textural and light, inspired by Pan-Asian tastes.

Add: 10 Dempsey Road, #01-20
Estimated savings per offer: S$61

If you're thinking of trying out the restaurants I listed here, or know someone who loves to dine, wine and unwind wholeheartedly, go get the full version of The Entertainer app! ;) It usually retails for S$75 but the early bird price of S$60 is still available. It works on iPhones, Androids, Windows phones etc. and can be purchased from The Entertainer website or via your app store. All deals are valid for the entire year {excluding eves of and public holidays} and new deals are added regularly. It really is a steal considering how much savings you'll get in return!

Promo: Quote "2015SAKURA" for 10% OFF the retail price of The Entertainer Singapore app {full version}. Valid until 28 Feb 2015.

Check out the rest of the local hotels, attractions and restaurants where you can use the app and watch a video on how it works.
