KidsFest 2015 | What's On This Year and Princess & A Pea Tickets Giveaway

Princess & The Pea

If your kids love live performances like Lil Pumpkin, I hope you're bringing them to KidsFest 2015!

The Gruffalo

Back for another year, this is a a theatrical extravaganza where 8 world-class theatre productions from Australia and London’s WestEnd will take the stage here in Singapore for more than five weeks from now until 1 Mar 2015. There is a dazzling array of productions recommended for children from as young as three!

The Tiger Who Came to Tea

Set to stage at the School of the Arts Singapore {SOTA} at 1 Zubir Said Drive, kids will whoop with delight as stories from their favourite books unfold on stage and characters comes to life :)

Just to name a few, the younger children will definitely enjoy shows like The Gruffalo {join Mouse on an adventurous journey through the deep dark wood in this musical adaptation of the award-winning book}, The Snail and the Whale {physical storytelling, live music and lots of laughs, see how a tiny snail saves a whale from disaster!} and The Tiger Who Came to Tea {a tiger's here for tea with a little girl and what follows is oodles of magic, sing-a-long songs and clumsy chaos!}...

Horrible Histories Vile Victorians

While the older ones will love Horrible Histories Vile Victorians {go on an adventure into vile Victorian England's miserable mines and filthy factories} and Horrible Histories Balmy Britain Part 2 {discover facts about Britain's history with nasty bits left in}.

We caught Horrible Histories Awful Egyptians last year and we're going to catch Erth's Dinosaur Zoo to get up-close and personal with awesome prehistoric creatures & cute baby dinos soon. Pretty excited about that!

Tickets are already on sale now with prices ranging from S$42 to S$62. You can book them at any SISTIC outlet or call the hotline 6348 5555. A 10% discount is applicable when you book two shows and a 15% discount when you book three or more! You can also show your purchased tickets or ticket stubs at any SISTIC outlet to receive a 10% discount on additional tickets. For more information, check out the KidsFest website or their Facebook page.

I know tickets have been selling fast but just for my special friends and readers, I have ONE Princess and the Pea Family Performance Tickets Package {worth S$248} to give away!! It includes 4 x Category 1 tickets {best seats!!} to the show on Thursday, 5 Feb 2015, 5pm at School of the Arts Singapore {SOTA}.

"A new adaption to The Princess and the Pea, imagine a hidden castle with hidden stories… a place where the Princesses don’t know they are Princesses and the Princes don’t really want to become Kings.

Then one wintery stormy night everything changes, the east wind blows through the castle of secrets, blowing away the cobwebs, lifting high the royal mattresses, ruffling feathers and unsettling all who live there. Then imagine a real Prince and a real Princess, oh and a pea!"

This is recommended for kids aged 3 and up, and running time is approx 55 minutes.
