10 Family-Friendly Activities & Attractions in Singapore @ 50% OFF + {Promo}

This year Singapore will have a bumper crop of seven long weekends, with the first one starting this week for Chinese New Year. Actually, if you plan your leave properly, you could also enjoy 3 extra to make it 10 long weekends for 2015!

As working parents, most of the time we get to do family activities is during the weekends so this is really good news for us!

Since I've got The Entertainer App this year, I'm definitely going to make full-use of it and save us some money, while exploring new places, food and attractions as a family. As I introduced it earlier, it is an app that entitles you to over 1,000 1-for-1 deals for food, travel and lifestyle.

Actually, we've already saved a lot on food since the year started, but haven't had time to explore any attractions yet. Just like my list of 10 Restaurants We Must-Try in 2015 {I've already crossed one off the list yay!}, this is my list of 10 Family-Friendly Activities & Attractions we must try this year with The Entertainer App. I'm so excited just by looking at what's available! :P

Like the restaurants, each attraction provides 3 offer vouchers so we can go there 3 times and enjoy buy one get one free offers each time. Or, I can use all three offers at once for a party of six or more and it requires no advance notice or pre-booking.

The estimated cost savings I've listed below is predicted by the app, but I find that usually, we save more than what's stated :)

1. Megazip Adventure Park
One of the best attractions in Sentosa, it is home to the longest and steepest Zip line in South East Asia! It also has other activities like Climbmax {an aerial obstacle course set amongst the treetops}, Parajump {step off a platform into thin air and land gently on the ground a full 15 metres below} and MegaBounce {leap to heights of 20 feet } for fun for the whole family.

3. Scuba People
I've always been interested in scuba-diving and this may be the push I need to explore it. Lil Pumpkin might not be of age yet, but maybe my nephew will be interested too? I can use our waterproof camera too! :P

At their introduction to scuba diving class, we can experience the basic of diving at the convenience of a local swimming pool under the supervision of a professional. During the class, we'll be exposed to the various equipment and scuba  skills to decide if we want to pursue an Open Water Scuba Diver course.

4. Mint Museum of Toys
Belonging to a Singaporean collector, the private museum showcases an extensive collection of vintage toys, including rare pieces. It is considered to be the largest collection of its kind within S.E. 5. Expat Kitchen Kids
Lil Pumpkin loves to play with her toy kitchen set, and help me out whenever I'm cooking too. So maybe this culinary playground where kids learn about handling food, eating healthily and preparing great recipes will be great for her :) Something she can try out with her cousin as well.

6. Climb Asia
A few of my friends brought their kids here already and they seem to like it. The boy and I used to do indoor wall-climbing regularly when we studied in Australia, and having been thinking of picking this up as a family sport. Climb Asia has a state-of-the-art climbing centre designed for climbers of all ages and abilities, even kids from aged 5 years old. If we like it here, we might even make this a regular thing!

This is Singapore's first ever permanent competition-length karting race track. I didn't even know we had one until I saw it on the app haha. On a 750m circuit, there's a fleet of Fun Karts {that can reach 50km/hr!} available for adrenaline-pumping fun! Lil Pumpkin is obviously too young to drive, but she can sit in the 2-seater kart as a passenger {kids need to be aged 5-9 years old}.

10. The WOW Experience
After the establishment of Combat Skirmish {aka laser tag}, The WOW Experience subsequently started ZOVB {rolling around in a big, cushioned ball} , and Laser Clay {firing infrared beams at reflective and reusable clays} which are all ok for young kids like Lil Pumpkin. If you're thinking of trying out the family-friendly activities or attractions I listed here, or know someone who loves to dine, wine and unwind wholeheartedly, go get the full version of The Entertainer app! ;) It usually retails for S$75 but the early bird price of S$60 is still available. It works on iPhones, Androids, Windows phones etc. and can be purchased from The Entertainer website or via your app store. All deals are valid for the entire year {excluding eves of and public holidays} and new deals are added regularly. It really is a steal considering how much savings you'll get in return!
