Where is this week's playground?
Level 3 Rooftop, Sembawang Shopping Centre, 604 Sembawang Road
FUN Factor?
7/10. It is a pretty huge FREE outdoor playground, considering that
the shopping mall is rather small. There are dry and wet areas for play.
The dry playground has different structures with different challenges to suit
the skills and mobility of toddlers to tweens.
Lots of slides, rockers, rope-climbing structures, poles etc.
Unfortunately, there's no barrier between the dry & wet playgrounds {there's actually slides connecting both areas}, so kids in their wet suits like to come over to the dry side and play too,
leaving the equipment wet and muddy :/
The wet playground has spray guns, water fountains and splash buckets...
I still prefer Kallang Wave Mall's waterplay area {especially since it's new & seems cleaner!},
but this has more area to run about. Changing rooms are available nearby too.
P.S. If you're in Sembawang, also check out
Singapore's last natural hot spring!!
Play is important for children to learn, grow and discover the world we live in.
As we visit as many fun, nostalgic and even quirky playgrounds as we can this year,
I hope to inspire you to make play an even bigger part of your kids' lives and
explore much more of our beautiful Singapore!

I like the wet playground. I think they are fun.
I love little pumpkin's dress!
The kids nowadays are so fortunate. So many shopping centres have play areas for them to play at.
Aww Pumkin is growing, she is always cute in action.
The playground is great, so colorful!
I love your series on playgrounds in Singapore! I'll make sure to visit some of these when I'm back in town!
Wow! That's a really neat playground and the wet area looks super fun!
That playground is at a shopping mall? I need to come there to shop! And play! :)
Fab playground love the cute photos :-)
Yeah we're pretty lucky to have so many free playgrounds around. Pity about the awful haze we're having now that's keeping us indoor most of the time!
You guys have the coolest playgrounds over there!
Oooh! I absolutely LOVE the look of this park..especially the water part! So fun!
The wet area would have sold me. I love to come across parks that have those.
The playground looks fun, but I think Lil Pumpkin's dress looks even more fun! ;)
