Actually, even though summer had officially started in Korea, it really wasn't hot at all. We went in early June and most days were cool and wet, around 20℃? Like "air-con" weather... very comfortable to walk and do the touristy things outdoors.
This is one of my fave photo from the trip. We were walking from Insadong to eat Samgyetang {Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup} at Tosokchon nearby and managed to pass by Gyeongbokgung just as the sun was setting..
Even though I brought my Sony camera along, I actually didn't use it as I found that the boy's Huawei P30 Pro mobile phone was less bulky, and took fantastic photos anyway haha. Hardly need any editing in colours! I think the pic above, which was taken with his phone, has #nofilter or editing too.. just in the wide angle mode.
I hope I do get down to writing them all before I forget!
Also have lots to catch up at work too since I was away a few weeks due to the trip and my sickness... so sorry if I haven't been reply to my emails or comments much.
Like a review on our hotel gym haha, the factory outlet we chanced upon to buy cheap flavoured almonds in Myeongdong, our first traditional jjimjilbang {Korean bathhouse} experience near Seoul Station, our first authentic Korean tea-house experience, how to enjoy Everland theme park as a family or where to get the best Samgyetang {Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup}.
If there's anything you'd like me to cover, feel free to contact me and let me know too (★^O^★)
Documented it on-the-go on my IG Story Highlights - look for Korea #2 and Korea #3 folders for this trip, and our 2018 winter holiday in Kimchi-land stories are in Korea #1 and Korea #2 folders.
