Mother's Day 2020 | Best Singapore Covid-19 Pandemic Bouquet Idea

Hey beautiful mamas, in case you are all befuddled by this "circuit breaker" period and aren't sure what day it is, this is a reminder that Mother's Day is this Sunday, 10 May 2020.

Since school is out so teachers aren't going to help, you still have a few more days to drop gentle hints to your precious hubbies and kids to get off their butts and get ready to make you feel like the queen that you are this weekend haha...

All jokes aside though, you really don't have to wait for your hubbies and kids to reward yourself in this hard job called "motherhood".

Yes, your home may not be spotless. Your kids' clothes may not be ironed all the time. Your food may not be "Instagram-worthy." You may lose your temper every day. Your sink may never be empty... But, no matter how hard it gets, you always show up for your family and try your best.

"Successful mothers are not the ones who never struggled. They are the ones who never give up despite the struggles."

And that's truly enough. So pat yourself on your back and reward yourself for that.

... Which is exactly what I did. *grins*

I ordered for myself a bouquet from The Lovely Hua Shop, with a little note that said,

"Dear Me,
You are loved and cherished.
No matter what you think, you're doing a good job.

Love, Me"

Just something to read on those days when I feel like I'm not a good enough mother, and we all know that we do have those days... ( ◞･౪･)

I was thoroughly amused when I saw this Snackin bouquet on The Lovely Hua Shop, an online flower boutique based in Singapore.

How practical is it to receive such a creative bouquet filled with snacks and masks, especially now during the Covid-19 pandemic??!! Soooo much better than flowers in my honest opinion, heh..

Due to the current situation, available snack choices are limited so you are not able to customise the bouquet. However, you can let them know of your preferred choices e.g. no spicy snacks or chocolates, and they will accede to your requests as best as possible.

For my bouquet, it came with 2 x Pocky boxes {Matcha and Chocolate}, 1 x Cheezels pack {Cheezy BBQ}, 1 x Krisbee Krunch pack {Corn, 75g}, 1 x Calbee Prawn Crackers {Original, 90g}, 1 Jack 'n Jill Roller Coaster pack {BBQ, 70g} and 2 x 3-ply surgical masks.

She may not have given me this bouquet, but my darling Lil Pumpkin is the reason I get to celebrate this wonderful day in the first place ❤

Thank you my sweet daughter for giving me the hardest, but best job in the world.

I would not trade it for anything. Love you always, my baby girl.

Of course, I owe all that I am to my own mother too, so I sent the same practical bouquet to her for Mother's Day.

I hope it would brighten up her day too, and remember that even though we are living apart now and can't meet each other during the circuit breaker, she is still dearly loved and missed (☆▽☆)
