Obento-making can be as complicated or as easy as you make it. Oh, I do have the tools to make a complicated キャラ弁 (kyaraben, character obentos) but I'm too lazy!! (><)" My mum makes it for the little pumpkin sometimes though, and she loves it! I should really start to put more effort into this to entice her to eat a wider variety of food...
Anyway a really simple obento would just require you to compartmentalise the different food, add a few kawaii utensils/designs and that's it! :) Today's brekky obento consists of
- cut baby bananas
- baked cashews
- Meiji Choco Baby bits
- homemade tapioca cake with coconut shavings
- small packet of Milo
What kind of breakfast do you prepare for your kids?
UPDATE: The boy saw my Lego colours-inspired obento and thought it wasn't fun enough, so he built a Lego "obento box" with the little pumpkin's Duplo blocks :)

- Meiji Marble chocolate snack
- Jeju Cactus chocolate from recent Korean trip
- Reese peanut butter cup
- Honey stars

That's adorable. What a cutie she is.
Nice! I like this Lego inspired breaky!
This is so cute! I'm pinning this on Pinterest. Btw, thanks for joining us again at the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop :)
Nice! Just to give you an excuse for laziness, the pumpking will appreciate beautiful bentos more if they only appear once in a while. :p
My daughter's breakfast is a bowl of oats... haha how more visually boring can it get?!
Oh my gosh I LOVE this!!! It is so cute! [I'm not a morning person either.]
Thanks for joining Make Yourself Monday!!

That is way too cute! You are an awesome Mom. Glad you shared something so unique with Tuesday's Tasty Tidbits.
Thanks! We hope to build more different box designs with Lego for her. Stay tuned :)
You make breaksfast so fun, and yummy. We're late morning people, too, so often we have lunch for breakfast. I saw another idea similar to a be to box where a mom put lunch in an ice cube tray. Pretty clever. Wish I had these ideas when my kds were little. Thanks for sharing.
This is great! I love those little meals! Thank you for joining me at Home Sweet Home!
