For Mother's Day, Lil Pumpkin's preschool actually organised a celebration in class for the mummies. However, Lil Pumpkin's preschool was closed last week due to the high number of Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease {HFMD} cases there so no celebration was planned for Father's Day :(
I really loved the handmade card Lil Pumpkin made for me for Mother's Day, and didn't want her daddy to miss out on the joy too so we secretly crafted him a Father's Day card on Saturday.
Lil Pumpkin loves colouring! She can now name most of the colours... a great improvement from when I first thought she might be colour-blind heh.
Princess at work! I brought our stickers, crayons, craft tape, tags etc. and just gave her free reign to work her magic...
Lil Pumpkin even drew a cat for her daddy! Kids have such great imagination :P I only helped to write the text {yes, that's my handwriting. No laughing!!} and stick the photo and tags on the cover.
On Father's Day we went for our long-awaited family photo-shoot. Been meaning to go for a long time but never got down to it. Finally got it done on Sunday yay!! The boy and I thought that it would only take 1.5 - 2hrs but we spent 3 hrs at the studio!! Kind of long and Lil Pumpkin was getting cranky... but luckily everybody had fun and the photographer said she managed to get some good shots :) Can't wait to see them!

Well I think that's the best drawing of a cat I've seen in a good long while! ;)
Fathers day in Aus isn't until the first weekend in September. Usually coincides around about the time of our wedding anniversary so Boatman gets double the love!
She is so beautiful and getting so big!! What a great card for Father's Day :) We went to my parent's house for a Father's Day brunch and did a bit of shopping :) Love the pics Ai!!
Isn't it wonderful to make cards with our girls together? They get so engrossed, come up with the weirdest and cutest drawings.. lol.. =) Next time we let lil pumpkin and angel have craft sessions together k, it'll be great fun! =) can't wait to see your pics too!
