The Three Bricklayers - Inspirational Parable about Communication & Attitude

I was at a work talk, which was pretty mundane, but at the end the speaker was telling the story of The Three Bricklayers to drive home the idea of having the right attitude and understanding the big picture. Basically the story goes like this,

"Someone saw three men working. He asked the first man what he was doing and the man said he was laying bricks. He asked the second man the same question and he said he was putting up a wall. When he got to the third man and asked him what he was doing he said he was building a cathedral."

They were all doing the same thing. The first man had a job. The second man had a career. The third man had a calling.

At an organisational level, it's important for an employee to know that no matter how small our job is or how insignificant it may seem, we are all laying bricks to build the company up. There is a big picture in our daily actions, and what little we do still makes a difference.

On hearing that parable, I related it more to me being a mum and how I communicate to Lil Pumpkin about her studies, though.

As she progresses through her schooling years, her school load is getting more and more intensive. Every other day, I'm telling her to "study hard", or "do your homework" or "remember your revision" etc. Even I reckon that I sound like a broken record and find it sian to say it over, and over again...

I know Lil Pumpkin is a curious child and likes learning new things, but sometimes schoolwork or listening in class can be boring. Rather than just reminding her on completing the immediate task e.g. learn her spelling or finish her homework, I should remind her to see the end result and focus on the bigger picture i.e. gaining more knowledge, creating a life that she wants, being a useful citizen of the world, having the ability to positively impact others in the future etc.

Maybe then, she would be more self-motivated to strive on completing the challenging tasks at hand without me prompting, and not be disappointed if she has mini set-backs in her schooling journey.

Lil Pumpkin may be laying bricks every day, but if she can envision her own personal "cathedral", she will enjoy her school years more, and grow more through the process. Right? #mummymusings

Fitness Diary :: 10 How to Meal-Prep Tips

I've been meal-prepping for about 9 months now since the beginning of the year, when I started training one-on-one under Superman. Although tedious, and sometimes quite boring, when coupled with my daily calorie-tracking, it has definitely guided me in making better and healthier food choices.. most of the time haha.

This meal-prepping habit I've formed has benefited not just me, but the rest of the family too since I also prep some meals for the boy and Lil Pumpkin too. This year, although I'm still not cooking often, I'm happy that we get at least 6-7 homecooked meals a week and I do feel like we're eating much cleaner and healthier.. plus getting a good deal of fresh, wholesome food, especially vegetables, into our bodies.

I'm no expert in meal-prep, but here are some things I've learnt and 10 Tips on How to Meal-Prep I'd like to share with you. Feel free to comment and let me know some of your other meal-prep tips too! ( ◞・౪・)
*****

1. Think Positively
Don't think of meal-prepping as a chore for the week, or something you must do to keep healthy. Instead, think of the time, money and effort you can save from cooking daily, or as a relaxing me-time to create food made with love for the family {and yourself}, or even the freedom it gives you from worrying about what to eat for each meal and how you can focus on other things that matter.

2. Cook for the whole week
Plan ahead to save time and money when you buy in bulk. Make sure you have a grocery list before you go shopping for the week. When cooking, prepare them in one batch, then portion for your individual meals for the rest of the week or pack the food dishes separately and portion before each meal, “buffet-style”. Refrigerate or freeze for later use.

3. Buy food in bulk
It will keep the cost lower, and you can prepare them in a variety of ways to keep the meals interesting. Stock up especially on staples e.g. frozen meat, fruits and vegetables {less expensive & last longer}, and rice, beans, oats etc.

4. Go for convenience
Get food that require very little prep-time e.g. pre-cut veggies, pre-washed salads, cooked rotisserie meat. Make use of protein shakes / protein bars to fulfil your protein needs on the go, but do so sparingly {at most once a day} and you can also order pre-packed healthy food delivery services for busy days e.g. YOLO Food, Grain, Maki San, Fit Three, AMGD

5. Portion and Go
Ready-portioned meals save time for you to weigh the individual ingredients each time, and prevent you from mindless eating from the bag or jar.

6. Invest in the right containers
Proper food storage containers allow you to re-heat your meals and eat from them, saving you time and effort from extra washing. Use air-tight, microwavable containers {preferably glass} or zip-lock bags for dry snacks to keep them fresh.

7. Set a Time Limit
It's not enough just to set time aside to meal-prep {I usually do mine once a week on Sunday} but it's very easy to go overboard and spend a long time in the kitchen cooking and prepping since in your mind, you're prepping for so many meals so you should spend more time on them. No, you don't have to spend your whole day prepping food for the week! Set a time limit of maybe 2-3hrs, focus and learn to multitask e.g. bake something while cooking on the stove.

8. Use MyFitnessPal app
It can be more than a calorie-tracking app. Use it to record recipes and meals so that you can reuse them again in the future, with modifications if needed, without needing to weigh the food and calculate the calories again.

9. Think Outside the Box
Be consistent, but not boring. You don't always have to eat the same thing all day, or even the same meal for lunch the whole week. Create standard "meal bases" e.g. salads or rice, and change the toppings or side dishes to shake things up.

10. Be Kind to Yourself
Even with the best-laid plans, things may not always go your way. You might not have time at all over the weekend to meal-prep, you might have to eat out unexpectedly, or you might just give in to your cravings and go overboard with unplanned snacking. It's really ok. Don't beat yourself up over it, but most of all, don't let it affect the rest of the meals for the day or even the week! Refocus and push through!

Tips from a Busy Working Mama: How to Sleep & Focus Better

If you're like me with a million things on your mind, you probably find it hard to sleep or focus. Even when I'm just opening the gate to home, I might be thinking - what should we have for dinner? Does Lil Pumpkin need to pee? What's on TV tonight? Should I pack food for tomorrow's event? Don't forget to switch on the water heater etc.. yeah, well, you get the drift.

It's funny how we used to take sleep for granted before parenthood doing assignments or *cough* partying all night... a precious commodity that we squandered away. Now if any parents-to-be ask me for one tip, I'd immediately say to sleep as much while you can hahahaha.

Sleep and focus are inter-related. If we're sleep deprived, our attention level drops. If we don't pay attention, we may make mistakes and miss out on important opportunities or learning which cause us to be even more stressed and frustrated, and that may cause lack of sleep. It's really a vicious cycle :/

Even as I learn to delegate tasks so as to free my mind and de-stress more this year, I'm still finding ways to help me sleep and focus better. These are some things I tried and worked for me, so I thought to share here as they might work for you too.

Tips to Sleep Better:

1. Make it a priority
Sounds easy enough but when we have lots to do, sleep seems to take a backseat. Make sleep a priority and set a scheduled time to go to bed. Most people need about 6-8 hours of rest to function properly. For us, we're usually in bed by 11pm as the boy says it's very important to sleep before midnight. He read somewhere that every hour's sleep before midnight is comparable to 2 hours of sleep after midnight. How early you sleep matters as much as how much you sleep!

2. Exercise more
On days that I exercise, I tend to sleep better.. maybe because I'm tired out haha. But some research shows that regular exercise helps promote better sleep quality, fewer depressive symptoms, more vitality, and less sleepiness in the daytime. Don't exercise too near your bedtime though as it stimulates your body too much and might make it harder to fall asleep! You can check out my fitness diary here.

3. Use essential oils.
The boy bought me an aromatherapy burner and lights it up with my favourite smells e.g. lavendar {improves relaxation}, lemongrass {purifies the mind} etc. at night to help me sleep better. I'm currently also using Oleum Natura's Sleep Blend as a massage oil {great after exercises!} to calm my mind and improve my sleep cycle. It's made from almond oil, clary sage essential oil, palma rosa essential oil, lavender essential oil.. Excellent quality as you can smell the scent before even opening the bottle! I like this blend but if you want to customise, Oleum Natura also provides custom blending services for their clients as well.

4. Turn down the stimulation
Our bodies need time to shift into sleep mode. Just like how we have "wind-down" routines for the kids, form some of our own like having a warm shower, doing some light reading or not using the smartphones or computers 30 minutes before bed.

5. Switch on some white noise
Living in tropical Singapore, using air-conditioners is a must for us especially when Lil Pumpkin heats up so easily {don't know why!}. However, we switch it on to about 25ºC and use the fans as well. Fans can also help move cool air around and ease the work load of the air conditioner, while providing white noise to block out sounds that cause hindrance to our sleep e.g from the cars outside. Win-win situation :)

Tips to Focus Better:

1. Take 15 - 30 mins power naps
Sometimes after lunch, I'll take a power nap. It can help you feel more alert throughout the day and give your system a needed "boost". Try not to nap in the late afternoon though, as it could delay the time you fall asleep at night.

2. Do "5 more"
I'm not sure if you've heard of this "5 more" rule, but if you're in the middle of a task and tempted to give up.. just do FIVE MORE. Maybe write 5 more sentences, read 5 more pages, or work for 5 more minutes. Like athletes who build physical stamina by pushing past their point of exhaustion, we can build mental stamina and concentration with this exercise to stretch our attention span.

3. Write to-do lists
I've been writing down things more not only because I'm rather forgetful {oops}, but also to free my mind from being a "reminder bulletin board". When my tasks are on paper, I can visualise and prioritise better. I can also give my undivided attention to what's most important at that time.

4. Manage your distractions
This is quite an obvious one but remove distractions for you to concentrate better. If you're working on the computer, switch off notifications, and don't open your inbox. Keep your mobile on silent and declutter your spaces. Say no to more events or projects so that you're not overwhelmed and can focus on what you have a hand. When you have less, you can do more.

5. Use your senses
Use sounds, visuals, tactile sensations, tastes and even smells to help us focus better. I play soft background music as white noise when writing reports, and also use aromatherapy like I do to sleep better. Oleum Natura's Focus Blend is made from almond oil, jojoba oil, rosemary essential oil, lavender essential oil and frankincense essential oil.  I have a 30ml bottle in the office and it's pretty lasting since I use just a few drops to rub some on my wrists and temples when I work to increase my alertness. Love the invigorating smell.

What other tips do you have to sleep and focus better?

Tips from a Busy Working Mama | Learn to Delegate Tasks

I think one of the hardest thing to do is to say "I can't do this" or "I need help". It's mostly because of pride I guess. If somebody else can handle it, why can't I? It's almost as if we are admitting defeat when we say we can't complete all our tasks, when all motivational posters seem to point in the way of "never give up in life". When do we decide to trudge on despite the obstacles, and when do we decide to throw in the towel?

{source}
As a mother, we have a lot to juggle. We have to run a household, manage our careers, relationships and everything in between. I'm not just talking about working mums like me with jobs outside, but for all mums because for some, their KPIs might be to finish all household chores by the time their kids wake up from afternoon naps, or get from ballet class to swimming class within an hour. All mums are "working full-time" in one way or another.

However, even as mums, we need to realise that not everything has to be on our shoulders to bear, not all problems have to be ours to fix. Learn to let go, and most of all, learn to delegate your tasks. I took a long time to learn this, but admitting we are struggling is not a sign of failure. In fact, it shows strength in holding on to what's important to us, and knowledge in prioritisation.

I've recognised that I've been feeling quite tired lately. My mind is in a constant whirl, and I'm having more mood-swings than usual {sorry dear hubby and Lil Pumpkin!}. Some days I woke up defeated and just wanted to go back to bed, and some nights I cried myself to sleep. Even I missed my cheerful, happy self bursting with energy.. what more Lil Pumpkin??

I thought through it carefully and realised that I was taking on to much, and decided that some things needed to change, especially for the new year. What better time to start afresh, right? I didn't want to be exhausted all the time, and not have the energy to be completely present with my family.

Other than cutting back on blog events and work, recently, I got the boy to help out even more with our household chores. Like really dedicate time to doing more manual chores like cleaning the restrooms, vacuuming / mopping the floors, wiping the windows etc. I thought about getting a part-time helper, but the boy {understandably} still doesn't like having strangers in our home, so he's willing to help take some burden off me in running the household. A clean, decluttered home certainly helps in freeing the mind as well.

We'll also start Lil Pumpkin on sleepovers with her grandma too, about once a month. This gives the boy and me time to reconnect as a couple and build on our husband-wife relationship {important foundation for a family}, time to run some errands that's easier without a child tagging along, and some precious me-time. As a parent, we do want to spend every other free time with Lil Pumpkin, but these time without her are just as important to recharge and come back energised to be with her, and I mean to be completely present with her, and not have our minds on other things like work.

I don't want to burn out. Struggles are part of our life story, but it's probably wise to learn to choose your battles to enjoy the things worth fighting for.

New year, new beginnings xox

Do you feel exhausted too? How would you delegate your tasks?

Tips from a Busy Working Mama | Shop Online, Save Time #Paypal

Before I met my hubby, I was quite an online shopping noob actually {“You mean, all I need to do is click and it delivers to my doorstep??”}. I was also very skeptical about the quality of goods from stuff you buy online. Even now, I don’t usually buy clothes online because I'm very particular about cutting & materials {although a lot of my friends swear by sites like ASOS!} but I do love sourcing for unique handicrafts or products that we don’t usually find in our local stores.

{Clockwise} Limited edition BAPE X Be@rBrick, Haba Strong Stuff game,
handcarved wooden knuckle dusters, Fred's homeware

Shopping online offers so much convenience for today's time-poor mums. You can shop online from home, at work {ssshhh!}, on your laptop or smartphone and browse through hundreds of items easily, without even leaving your seat. Or even bed, because I like to do it while Lil Pumpkin sleeps ;p

In fact, it's not just time you save, but monetary costs too. Don't you usually eat out when you shop at stores? Or pay petrol, parking & ERP money for traveling? Or spend more on things we don't actually need but just saw at the check-out counters? Or buy at a higher price just because we were too lazy to compare prices at other stores?

I think a lot of people share the same fears that I had in the beginning and that’s what holding them back from online shopping. Fear that what they bought may not be what they saw online, or that the sellers don’t send the items over, or that their personal safety is compromised etc. Those are valid concerns but I think if they use a responsible and trusted company like PayPal to transact money, their confidence level will increase.

PayPal protects your financial information securely, and it is never shared with the seller. They also have the latest fraud prevention technology with 24/7 account monitoring from a dedicated team of security specialists. Indeed, PayPal Buyer Protection makes buying online safe. If the item doesn’t arrive or doesn’t match the seller’s description, you can recover the full purchase price of the item plus shipping costs via PayPal.

Example of the boy paying his membership fees online

Another benefit when using PayPal is that all your information is already captured in your account, and you don’t have to type in all your long list of financial information every time you make a purchase online. All you need is one ID and one password for about 9 million merchants worldwide that use PayPal to get paid.

Christmas is coming and if you haven't tried it before, now might be a good idea to get your hands into online shopping to beat the dreaded crowds. Below are some online boutiques you can check out for gifts and they all accept PayPal.

Tips from a Busy Working Mama | Cooking for the Family #CookforFamily

Between juggling work, household chores, running errands etc... finding time to cook for my family can be difficult.

Kiwifruits & Cheerios with Manuka honey breakfast
But then, I've come to realised that you don't just find the time, you make the time. Cooking to me isn't a chore and something I'd gladly make time for...

Fresh Greek Salad
I love the satisfaction of seeing my family's happy faces while eating something I created!

Tomato-based Spinach Fettuccine
Usually, I cook quick and simple meals that thankfully, turn out to be rather delicious {if I do say so myself ;p}. Some of the recipes are passed down from my mother, some I cook based on feeling & what I think should be inside {read, just winging it!}, while others are inspired from cookbooks, blogs and of course, Pinterest.

Mini Fairy Cupcakes
Living in Singapore, it is very easy to dine out conveniently and inexpensively. However, nothing beats spending time in the warmth of your home and forming memories over meals at the family table. I'd like to encourage you to bond with your family through eating at home and have some tips on how you can cook for your family.

1. Meal plan
Think ahead and plan what you want to cook for the week. It saves time, helps with grocery shopping {saves you extra trips to the supermarket!} and keeps the stress level down on racking your brain on thinking "what to cook"? for meals each day. In the long run, you will also save money because you waste less groceries and use only what you need.

2. Stock up on non-perishables
They are basically "shelf-stable" items that have months of shelf life. They are not all unhealthy and include a wide variety like canned vegetables, dried fruit, pasta, cereals, baked beans, sauces, canned fish etc. Sometimes the opportunity to cook suddenly appears, and with these ingredients readily available you can easily create a wholesome meal.

3. Give yourself a target
Set a goal to cook during the week. Maybe once a week on the weekends, or Monday nights when you are still fresh at the beginning of the week. Put it into your schedule and make a routine out of it. I try to cook weekend lunches or at least do a Sunday bake.

4. Make frozen meals
If you only have time to cook once a week, take a little extra time to make a supply of quick and tasty meals that you can freeze and warm up when you are short on time. Frozen meals don't mean they are unhealthy. If you use fresh and quality ingredients, they can be pretty nutritious too. Check out some of the frozen food recipes here.

5. Get the family involved
Ask your family members to help you prepare the meal. It eases your burden and is a great time to share food tips as well. Even the little ones can help :) I usually get Lil Pumpkin to mix my baking batter or wash my vegetables. It makes her appreciate the food better and encourages her to finish the food that she helped prepare!

6. Don't forget the fun
Sometimes, we don't feel like cooking because it's boring. Keep the motivation going by finding fun new ways to cook an ingredient you've used many times. I'm currently taking part in the Zespri Kiwifruit 14-Day Daily Scoop of Amazing Challenge to get creative with kiwis for the next 2 weeks, and I'm excited to learn new recipes and cooking methods with just that one fruit. It's an innovative idea and maybe I'd do a personal challenge after that to think out-of-the-box with a random food ingredient monthly! 21 ways to eat & cook tomatoes, apples or chicken, anyone?

Lil Pumpkin & her daddy bond through cooking together
You probably read in the news that about 100 bloggers are taking part in a #CookforFamily initiative. Well, the news isn't exactly right because not all the bloggers are food bloggers. And that is the beautiful thing, because you don't have to be a food connoisseur, a food blogger, or even a blogger for that matter to cook for your family with love :) If you haven't been doing it, take this as a kick-in-the-butt and make it a point to.

More inspiration can be found on the #CookforFamily updates by checking on Twitter or Instagram with that hashtag {find me on both as @AiSakuraHaruka} or join this Facebook group, Food with Love. Good luck and feel free to share with me the delicious meals you created for your family!

Tips from a Busy Working Mama | 5 Office Fashion Must-Haves

I've been working for about 4 years and I love observing what other ladies wear in the office. Lunch times are my favourite when I can just sit there, sip on my bubble tea and people watch. I think that there's actually a few fashion pieces that should be in every working lady's wardrobe and here are 5 of my office must-haves. Of course, you can give it your own style and personality to suit your individuality.

1. Jackets {blazers or cardigans}
Basically, something that you can throw on to make your outfit seem more formal during the day, and take off after-hours for a fun look. You don't need to go for boring black jackets, but maybe try something cropped {like a bolero} or chic nautical stripes. Keep a formal one in the office for those impromptu business meetings with big bosses and clients.

2. Knee length skirts
Really, I don't care what Ally McBeal says but mini skirts don't belong in the office, unless you work in a bar. If you don't like skirts, you can always go for tapered pants.

3. Flat shoes
Sure, high heels can instantly dress-up an outfit, but seriously, can your feet take the beating 5 days a week? You might be at your desk a lot, but remember to factor in meetings, site visits, lunch hours, walking around the office etc. Flat doesn't mean lazy and there are a lot of comfortable, pretty flats out there to match all types of office wear. However, make sure you get properly soled flats with arch support. I prefer to invest in quality leather flats that are stylish, yet comfortable and last a long time.

4. Statement pieces
Like a stylish watch, or a vintage brooch, or a bright quilted handbag, or that simple silver cuff bracelet... have statement pieces that will make your officewear pop. You don't need many; remember quality over quantity.

5. Little black dresses
To digress a little, funerals in Singapore are not quite informal. As long as you wear mourning colours like white, black or blue... you are set. In Japan however, you are expected to dress formally in suits or dresses {if you aren't in the funeral kimonos}. I bought my first black working dress in Japan when I started work just in case I needed to attend a funeral. Not joking. Black dresses are easy to wear, and style with different accessories. Choose those with interesting cuts, details and texture.

What office fashion must-haves do you recommend?

Tips from a Busy Working Mama | 1 Watch, 5 Workwear Fashion Styles

With different types of work environment, you need various styles of workwear. Even in the same office, different occasions require you to dress differently. Workwear covers a large spectrum - corporate, business casual, casual, creative chic etc. Thankfully for us office ladies, the Casio Sheen SHE-5020D-7A watch matches all types of office-appropriate dressing! :)

Monday All-Blacks
Seriously, every girl needs that little black dress. Black dresses are easy to wear, and style with different accessories. Choose those with interesting cuts, details and texture. On a Monday morning where you still have the Monday blues, a little black dress with black opaque stockings & heels is all you need to look chic and elegant with little effort. The SHE-5020D-7A watch adds an extra sophistication to this outfit for meeting senior management or clients.

Tuesday Power Suits
If you work in a conservative corporate environment, power suits are all the rage. Personally, I prefer pants suits as it makes me seem taller and leaner ;p You can go for the "safe" colours like black, white, or gray but how about trying out patterned suits for a more fashionable, yet classy, take? I love the stripes and sheen in my brown suit that makes me stand out from the rest. Suits are still somewhat masculine, but adding an inside top with flower details gives it a feminine touch. The timeless SHE-5020D-7A fits right in the corporate world where dressing up is highly regarded to represent the company or respect the important client you are meeting.

Wednesday Colour Burst
It is mid-week and you need a burst of energy! Or maybe you work in a creative field whereby you can have more fun with colours. Just like the more monotone colours above, the SHE-5020D-7A works well with the bright colours. A dress like above is something I would wear to meet clients or to an office social event. The structured cut still makes it look formal & professional, and a classic pair of vivid red heels adds to the colour pop.

Thursday Outdoors
Some days I need to go out of the office for site visits, so I like to wear something that is easy to move about and keeps me cool. A linen shirt dress, cinched at the waist for shape, and cotton capris pants is just perfect for time outside in the hot Singapore weather. Since I will be walking a lot, I will wear comfortable footwear like flats or wedges, instead of high heels. The SHE-5020D-7A adds sparkle to an otherwise pastel business casual look, and is comfortable to wear all day outdoors too.

Friday Wind-Downs
Most workplaces have "Casual Fridays", but it really does not mean that you should go to the office in shorts & flip-flops. Personally, I don't think that you should be too casual as you are still trying to impress somebody important in the office - your boss! I like something chic like a pink blazer with a over a whimsical floral dress. Perfect for the current Spring season! The blazer instantly dresses up an outfit, and you can take it off after work for drinks with your colleagues. The versatile SHE-5020D-7A easily takes the outfit from day to night for all-day style.

Whats your current workwear style? Do you have tips for dressing in your work environment?

This post is part of my Casio Sheen Shining Journey series. You can view photos from all the shining moments here!

Tips from a Busy Working Mama | How to Prevent a Computer Crash

Last week I came to work to discover that my computer crashed. Again.

You would think that computer crashes do not happen very often. Me too. But as "luck" would have it, my computer has crashed 3 times in the past 1.5 years. You can call me sibeh suay {very unlucky!}.

Once you see that blue {when it hangs in the middle of your work}, or worst, black {when it cannot even start-up!} screen of death , your heart just sinks. Getting a new computer is the easy part. It's the mad rush to salvage the data in the curent computer or losing everything on your hard-disk that causes the head, AND heart aches... a lot of "work" is needed to get a computer fixed, and in the end you actually are not able to get much work done. Oh, the irony!

Here a compilation of some tips I've been told to take care of my computer to extend its lifespan, and hopefully not crash another time. Many thanks also to my hubby who is the tech whiz of the family to solve my tech problems!

1. Delete files, applications or programs you don't need. The less memory your computer has, the more likely it is to crash.

2. Don't open too many programs at the same time. It overloads your computer and saps its energy.

3. Don't bring food or drinks near your computer. Spillage may seep into your computer and hurt your harddisk and battery.

4. Make sure your virus and spyware protection is up-to-date and run regular scans. Malicious software can cause crashes too, so be careful not to click on links you aren't sure of. Even if they are from friends and family as their accounts might be hacked!

5. Backup regularly either with another computer, external harddrive, CDs etc. Set a schedule, say every Friday {or more regularly if you have very important work} and try to stick to it. I'm gonna try and back-up every Friday too. At least if there's a crash, my data is safe! Once you backup, you can delete files not used frequently to save space on your computer so that it can work more efficiently.

6. Update your operating system software regularly. Even if it is new, it is still prone to crashes so look out for the patches and updates. Yes, I know how easy it is to click "postpone" but just do it!

7. Turn off your computer when not in use. This is a no-brainer to save energy {and $ }but I know some people leave their computer running from day to day to download files, play games etc. Leaving it on for long periods might cause errors to build up but if need be, restart your computer daily.

8. Make sure to keep the computer cool {make sure the CPU/case fans are clean and working properly!} and room not too moist, as overheating and water condensation causes hardware failure.

Whether you are working mother in the office, or a SAHM blogging from home, I hope you find these tips useful and take care of your computer. It really is a b*tch when it crashes!!!
